
Liverpool and Man United are among the seven youngest Premier League managers following Newcastle's appointment of a new coach.
On 6 Aug 2026 GMT+7, the list of the youngest Premier League managers for the 2026-27 season was released after Newcastle officially appointed Matthias Jaissle, a promising young German coach, as their new head coach replacing Eddie Howe.
Matthias Jaissle, aged 38, became the second youngest Premier League manager ahead of the 2026-27 season after signing a four-year contract with Newcastle lasting until June 2030, with an annual salary of £6 million (approximately 267 million baht).
The youngest remains Fabian Hürzeler, a compatriot managing Brighton & Hove Albion, who is just 33 years old, despite this being his third Premier League season.
