On 14 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Bryan Mbemba, the Cameroonian attacker, revealed what he said to Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese midfielder and captain of the "Red Devils" Manchester United, the well-known Premier League club, after he missed a penalty in the latest friendly match last night.
Referring back to that match, the "Red Devils" Manchester United drew 1-1 with the "Peacocks" Leeds United in a preseason friendly before winning 5-4 on penalties.
Bryan Mbemba spoke about Bruno Fernandes after his penalty miss in the game against Leeds United: "I saw him (Bruno Fernandes) miss the penalty. I went up to him and asked, ‘What happened there?’ He looked at me and said he wasn’t sure what happened. I then said, ‘You’ve taken so many penalties, you usually fool the goalkeeper into moving first before you shoot, but this time it wasn’t like that.’ We just joked around."
