Omar Marmouch Opens Up After Leaving Man City to Join Spurs

Omar Marmouch opens up after leaving Manchester City to join Spurs.

"Marmouch" is very happy to officially join "Spurs," calling it one of the biggest clubs in England.

Following the announcement that Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur has secured 27-year-old Egyptian international forward Omar Marmouch from "the Sky Blues" Manchester City on a season-long loan for 2026-27, with a compulsory purchase clause next summer, he will wear the number 22 jersey to lead the attack.

Marmouch said, “I feel very good. I’m very happy to be here, excited to start with the team, and can’t wait to meet the fans and play together on the pitch.”

“My family’s reaction has been fantastic. My wife is very happy to be in London and delighted that I’m with this club. Seeing me happy makes her happy, and I’m very happy to be here.”

“It’s been a wonderful summer. My wedding was definitely the best day of my life. Coming here feels like the perfect end to a great summer, and I can’t wait to get started with the team.”

The deal is valued at a total of £60 million, consisting of an initial fee of £50 million plus an additional £10 million in bonuses based on performance and other agreed conditions.

Marmouch is expected to make his Spurs debut in the Premier League home match against Newcastle United on Saturday, 29 August.
