Liverpool cheers as the Reds complete the deal for a new player, revealing the transfer fee and debut match.
On 29 Aug 2026 GMT+7, David Ornstein, a renowned journalist from The Athletic, reported that Liverpool, a leading Premier League club, has finalized the signing of Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain.
Ornstein revealed that Liverpool will pay a total transfer fee of £106 million (€125 million), plus additional conditions that could raise the total to £123 million (€145 million).
The 23-year-old Bradley Barcola agreed to a five-year contract, meaning he will stay with Liverpool until summer 2031 if he completes the full term. The player has already traveled to England to undergo a medical examination.
However, Liverpool is unable to register Bradley Barcola in time for the second Premier League match of the 2026-27 season, which will be a home game against Nottingham Forest today.
Therefore, Barcola's official debut is expected to be in the Premier League's third match of the 2026-27 season, an away game against newly promoted Ipswich Town on Friday, 4 Sep 2026 GMT+7.
