“Win already!!!” Kurkjian urged Liverpool to stop settling for single points after two consecutive draws in the Premier League.
Milos Kurkjian, left-back of Liverpool, rallied his teammates, saying it’s time to start winning after drawing two straight matches in the English Premier League.
Although Kurkjian and his Liverpool teammates remain unbeaten in their first two games (2-2 draws against Newcastle and Forest), earning just 2 points and conceding 4 goals is below their expected standard.
Kurkjian said, “Of course, 2 matches and 2 points isn’t a great result, but if we remove the negatives, we are still unbeaten, so it’s okay. But we need to start winning more games.”
“For us, especially as defenders, we want clean sheets. Our goal is to prevent the opponents from scoring, so we’ve been training hard and trying to fix these issues this week. I think it will get better.”
“We hold meetings and regularly analyze video for defenders. We want to improve in that area, and we can do it with the quality we have.”
Against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest, Liverpool fell behind twice but managed to come back and draw both matches.
Kurkjian said about this, “We fight until the end. That’s what we have and what this club is about. But clearly, in both games, we had to come from behind to equalize, and that’s not ideal.”
