Carrick expressed great frustration, saying it felt like a defeat after Everton snatched a stoppage-time draw against Man United.
Michael Carrick, manager of Manchester United, said that conceding a 2-2 draw to Everton in the latest English Premier League match felt like a loss.
In that match, Manchester United took a 2-1 lead in the 88th minute with a header from Benjamin Sesko, but Ensley Maitland-Niles astonishingly scored an equalizer for Everton in the sixth minute of added time (90+6).
After the game, Carrick said, "There’s no denying we felt we should have won today. Part of that is our own fault for not holding onto the lead until the end."
"It feels like a defeat. It’s not a good feeling right now. We need to concede fewer goals to increase our chances of winning games."
