Sesko speaks frankly after Man United was held to a draw by Everton.
Benjamin Sesko, the Slovenian striker for the “Red Devils” Manchester United, admitted feeling extremely disappointed after his team was pegged back by Everton to a 2-2 draw during injury time in the English Premier League last night.
In the match, Manchester United took a 2-1 lead in the 88th minute with a header from Benjamin Sesko, but Everton equalized 2-2 with a long-range shot from Anselm Maitland-Niles during injury time at 90+6 minutes.
Sesko said, “I feel very disappointed. We were so close to victory but ultimately missed out. It hurts to see the win slip away because everyone gave their all. We really wanted to win this game.”
“Scoring a goal is the best feeling, especially when it’s for a club like this. That’s my role. But of course, I want us to win more than anything.”
As a result of this draw, Manchester United now have 4 points and sit in 11th place on the table, while Everton have 5 points and are in 8th place.
