Xabi Alonso, manager of the "Blues" Chelsea, admitted he was extremely disappointed after his team suffered a heavy 0-3 defeat away to Brentford in last night's English Premier League match, marking their third consecutive league game without a win and dropping them to 7th place in the standings.
Alonso said, "I am disappointed with the second half, disappointed with the result. This is not the way to compete in the Premier League. We were punished."
"Right now, we still lack the consistency needed to compete throughout the entire game. Playing well for only 45 minutes isn’t enough. You have to compete for the full match.
