Liverpool, take note: Brighton's manager delivers bold remarks ahead of tonight's Premier League clash with the Reds.
"Brighton's manager" declares his ambition to storm Anfield and defeat "Liverpool" on their home turf, aiming for a fifth consecutive Premier League win.
Fabian Herseeler, manager of the "Seagulls" Brighton, stated his team is currently in excellent form, having won four straight league matches. He set the target to beat "the Reds" Liverpool in tonight's English Premier League match and praised Liverpool attacker Florian Wirtz as an outstanding player.
Herseeler said, "We are in a good run of form and still have room to improve. We don't just want to maintain our standards; we aim to raise them even higher."
"We know what to expect from Liverpool. They will apply intense pressure, so the game will be very intense. Anfield always has a special atmosphere. We must prepare both mentally and physically, but at the moment, it seems we are in a good position to achieve a positive result."
Additionally, Herseeler instructed his players to collectively counter the skillfulness of Liverpool's technical attacker Florian Wirtz.
"I’m excited to see the strong performance of my playmaker Pascal Gross—not theirs!"
"Certainly, Wirtz is an excellent player. What he has achieved in his career is impressive, and I believe he is increasingly adapting to the Premier League."
"It’s always a pleasure to see players like him, but the important thing for us is to stop him—not through man-to-man marking, because he’s just too good."
"We need to stop him as a team. But Liverpool doesn’t only have Wirtz; they have many players with individual quality. It will depend on our collective team effort."
