Twist revealed: Who Manchester United fans booed after their home loss to Bournemouth
Manchester United fans made their stance clear: they applauded Carrick but booed the players and club owners following the home defeat to Bournemouth.
After the "Red Devils" Manchester United lost 0-3 at Old Trafford to Bournemouth in their latest English Premier League match, the team dropped to 16th place in the standings. Michael Carrick has not been able to guide the team to a win in his last eight matches across all competitions.
However, the reaction from the Red Devils fans was unexpected, as they cheered and applauded Carrick while he was walking back into the tunnel.
Once Carrick entered the tunnel, the applause stopped and fans switched to booing the Manchester United players and the club owners loudly.
Manchester United supporters also sang a song to encourage Michael Carrick, chanting "It's Carrick, you know" to praise and honor him.
Those shouting at the club's management used phrases like "we want Glazers out" and "sell United and f*** off home," expressing their desire for the Glazer family to leave and sell Manchester United.
