Not just Salah: Liverpool announces 19-man squad to visit Inter in UCL matchday 6.
On 9 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Liverpool, currently 10th in the English Premier League, announced a 19-player squad traveling to face Inter Milan, third in Italy's Serie A, in the UEFA Champions League group stage matchday 6, to be played tonight at 03:00 GMT+7.
As expected, Liverpool's star striker Mohamed Salah is not included after publicly criticizing manager Jürgen Klopp and the club following his benching for the last three matches and complaining about being made a scapegoat for the Reds’ poor results.
Additionally, Liverpool's traveling squad to Italy also excludes attacking players Federico Chiesa and Cody Gakpo, along with versatile midfielder Wataru Endo.
This means Liverpool will be missing a total of seven first-team players: Mohamed Salah, Federico Chiesa, Cody Gakpo, Wataru Endo, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leonì, and Stefan Bajcetic.
