
One major team has been eliminated: the "supercomputer" predicts the latest UCL favorites after matchday 6, with two teams rising.
On 11 December 2025 GMT+7, Opta, a leading football statistics expert, revealed the latest predictions for the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League title favorites after all 36 teams completed the six matches of the league phase.
The current situation on the UEFA Champions League league phase standings shows only one team has won all six matches as follows:
1. Arsenal 18 points
2. Bayern Munich 15 points
3. Paris Saint-Germain 13 points (scored 19, conceded 8)
4. Manchester City 13 points (scored 12, conceded 6)
5. Atalanta 13 points (scored 8, conceded 6)
6. Inter Milan 12 points (scored 12, conceded 4)
7. Real Madrid 12 points (scored 13, conceded 7)
8. Atlético Madrid 12 points (scored 15, conceded 12)
Opta's supercomputer still ranks Arsenal as the top favorite to win the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League with a 23.31% chance after winning all six matches, conceding only one goal, and most recently beating Club Brugge 3-0 away.
Meanwhile, the defending champions Paris Saint-Germain remain third favorite after drawing 0-0 with Athletic Bilbao. Real Madrid fell to sixth favorite after losing 1-2 at home to Manchester City, while Barcelona climbed to fifth favorite following a 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Liverpool moved up from ninth to seventh favorite after a 1-0 away win against Inter Milan, overcoming challenges both on the pitch and off it amid media protests from Mohamed Salah.
