On 26 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Opta, a leading football statistics expert, revealed the latest predictions for winning the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League by English Premier League clubs after all teams qualified for the round of 16.
The English Premier League has all six of its participating teams progressing to the knockout round of 16 this season: five teams from the league phase (Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester City) and one from the playoff round (Newcastle United).
Arsenal, one-time runners-up, has the highest chance of winning the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League, topping the favorites among all teams in the round of 16. Manchester City, a one-time champion, holds the second-best chance behind the "Gunners."
Liverpool, England's most successful European club with six titles, is third in chances, followed by Chelsea, a former two-time champion, and Newcastle, reaching the round of 16 for the first time.
Tottenham, a former runner-up once, has the lowest chance to win the UCL after a slump in form that currently has them fighting relegation in the Premier League.
