Without beating around the bush, French President Emmanuel Macron confidently forecasts the UEFA Champions League first leg semi-final score between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
On 28 April 2026 GMT+7, Emmanuel Macron, President of France, predicted the UEFA Champions League 2025-26 semi-final first leg result, where Paris Saint-Germain, leaders of Ligue 1 France, will host Bayern Munich, Bundesliga champions of Germany, tonight at 02:00 GMT+7.
Macron made his prediction for the PSG versus Bayern match while visiting Andorra on 2 April, where he had the chance to meet students at a school in Santa Coloma.
One student asked Macron about tonight’s match result. Although the French leader is a devoted Olympique Marseille fan, PSG’s fierce rival, he replied, "I am an OM supporter, but tonight PSG will play."
"So, I’m supporting PSG. I think they will win 3-1. The Champions League isn’t easy, but they have a very good team," Emmanuel Macron confidently predicted.
The French President also added that he believes the French national team has a strong chance of winning the 2026 World Cup, saying, "We have an excellent French team as well. I have confidence in Didier Deschamps."
