Harry Kane, Bayern Munich's striker, opened up after their away loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg.
Harry Kane, the forward for the "Bavarians" Bayern Munich, expressed confidence that his team can overturn the situation and reach the final after losing 4-5 away to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg, saying they must fight with nothing to lose.
Kane said, “You saw two top teams playing attacking football and transitioning quickly from defense to offense, with speed, intensity, and one-on-one battles. The penalty was a bit harsh, but we should have closed out the game earlier. We're proud to have ended with a 4-5 scoreline because a 2-5 loss would have been much tougher. We fought and struggled to get back into the game.”
“As the match went on, we played better and better. They started to tire, so we will go to Allianz Arena and try to maintain the same intensity.”
“We will return home with nothing to lose. We play our best when we are aggressive and strong. It depends on who seizes the opportunity next week. With the fans' support, we hope it will push us to victory.”
For the second leg of the semi-final, Bayern Munich will host Paris Saint-Germain at Allianz Arena on Wednesday, 6 May.
