Andoni Iraola, manager of Liverpool, praised his players' spirit after they came from behind to beat Atletico Madrid, a strong team from Spain's La Liga, 2-1 at Anfield in the first group stage match of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League last night.
Iraola said, "I am very happy today because we faced a difficult situation from the start after conceding the first goal.
