"Alexis Mac Allister" reveals factors behind "Liverpool"'s comeback win over "Villarreal" in the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 League Phase Matchday 3.
On 21 Oct 2026 GMT+7, Alexis Mac Allister, the Argentine midfielder, revealed the factors behind "The Reds" Liverpool, a renowned Premier League team led by Spanish manager Andoni Iraola, overturning "The Yellow Submarine" Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 League Phase Matchday 3 last night.
After scoring two goals himself in the 36th and 65th minutes, Alexis Mac Allister said, "As you can see, I'm not tall, but I like to run into the penalty area. I'm very pleased both goals were good headers. Around the 30th or 35th minute of the first half, we adjusted our tactics because we were panicking and not playing well. After changing our formation and positions, Liverpool's game control clearly improved."
"Last season, there was something not quite right within the group, but this manager came in and changed that, which is very important. Our playing style is quite different now. I don't want to compare, but I'm really enjoying it. The team is heading in the right direction, but we still need to work hard and give everything, hoping to win the championship."
