Three intruders broke into Bruno's residence at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, stealing brand-name jewelry and several expensive valuables.
Police stated they were alerted by Bruno's neighbors who spotted three unknown men in his garden. Officers arrived within 10 minutes of the report, but the three burglars had already fled.
Reports added that Bruno was very upset by the incident, considering it one of the worst nightmares for any footballer traveling abroad. Fortunately, his wife and children were not at home during the break-in.
This intrusion is the latest incident involving a famous footballer's home in Cheshire, England, following a similar burglary at the house of Ruben Dias, Manchester City's midfielder, while he was away competing in the Champions League against Galatasaray in January.
