Miguel Arteta revealed what Arsenal must fix despite their away win over Slavia Prague in the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League league phase.
On 5 Nov 2026, Miguel Arteta, the Spanish manager, spoke about what the 'Gunners,' Arsenal, a prominent Premier League club, need to improve despite their 2-1 away win against Slavia Prague in the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League league phase match 4 last night, bringing their total to 9 points from 4 games.
Miguel Arteta said, "First of all, you have to value winning an away game in the Champions League because it's really tough. Today was a match with two completely different halves. In the first half, we played at a very high level with intensity, pace, and clarity—the things we wanted. We should have scored 3, 4, or even 5 goals."
"But in the second half, our standards clearly dropped. We performed poorly on the basics, lost our structure and the planned game concept. When you do that, you give hope to the opponent. We faced a tougher challenge than expected, and credit must go to Slavia Prague. However, this is a big lesson we need to take back and learn from."
