"Siak Kaek" Somchai Tesroongruang, owner of the PK Saenchai gym, revealed what Tawanchai said when he was kicked by his opponent resulting in a broken leg.
The latest development came after Tawanchai PK Saenchai lost by TKO to Liu Mengyang, a Chinese fighter, in the featherweight kickboxing main event at ONE Lumpinee 137 on Friday, 19 Dec 2025 GMT+7.
The fight ended in the first round when Tawanchai was hit directly on the leg by Liu Mengyang, causing him to drop to the floor and be unable to continue fighting, resulting in his loss. Later updates confirmed that Tawanchai suffered a severe injury, breaking his leg.
Recently, "Siak Kaek" Somchai Tesroongruang, owner of PK Saenchai gym, posted on Facebook about the incident saying, "When Tawanchai PK was kicked and felt pain in his leg, he sat down and said to me, 'Boss, my leg.' So I told Tawanchai to see the doctor."
"I am stressed and sympathize with Tawanchai. He trains very hard and is very dedicated. He cut his weight by 11 kilograms over a month and made weight just right today. In the evening, he gained 8 kilograms. Before the fight, he told me he was in perfect condition and eager to fight. I wished him victory."
"When he sat down, my heart sank because I didn’t think the kick to the large calf muscle would cause such a serious injury—a broken leg. I pray he recovers and can fight again. Please send your support to Tawanchai. Those who love him should encourage him. When someone falls, don’t abandon them; one day, he will come back even stronger."
