Mongkutphet received a 50,000 baht cash incentive after winning the silver medal at the 2025 SEA Games.
On 25 December 2025, Mongkutphet Phetprao Fa, a Thai national boxing athlete, along with “Sia Boat” Natthadet Wachirattanawong, visited the home of Ampawan Theves to file a complaint with the Thai Olympic Committee. Assistant Professor Pimol Srivikorn, chair of the Thai Olympic Committee, personally accepted the complaint. They alleged unfair judging at the 2025 SEA Games, hosted by Thailand, where Mongkutphet earned only the silver medal in the women's 45-kilogram category.
Following this, Dr. Sakchai Thapsuwan, president of the Thai Amateur Muay Thai Association, will be invited to meet with the Thai Olympic Committee to discuss and hear his perspective during the first week of the New Year.
Recently, Mongkutphet received encouraging news when Thianchai Phisitwutthinan, CEO of Global Sport Ventures Company Limited (GSV), a board member of Rajadamnern Stadium and chairman of the RWS program, presented her with a 50,000 baht cash incentive as a morale boost.
Mongkutphet posted on Facebook, “I would like to sincerely thank Sia Bank for giving me this cash incentive. Next year, I will come back stronger. See you all soon. #RWS #Mongkutphet #Phetpraofa”
