Ring hero becomes local leader! "Black Rose S.J. Piak Uthai" wins Subdistrict Administrative Organization election in Surin Province.
On 12 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Sombun Meesitdee, known to boxing fans as Black Rose S.J. Piak Uthai, now using the name Isaan Lion Laochok Charoenratchasi and affiliated with PK.Saenchai, was elected as a member of Ram Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Village No. 4, Mueang District, Surin Province, in the election held on 11 January. He secured 236 votes.
For this candidacy, Black Rose promoted the policy “No one left behind for the elderly, youth development, and emphasis on sports” to improve the quality of life in the community.
After learning the election results, Black Rose posted on social media, “It’s done. Thank you for trusting me.”
Black Rose, nicknamed “Meteoric Left,” is known as a Thai boxer with a powerful and fierce left punch. In his last five fights at ONE Championship, he won four and lost one, with his most recent bout being a thrilling points loss to PTT Apichat Farm at ONE Lumpinee 137.
