Buriram futsal players had three phones stolen by a thief at Buriram Pittayakom School amid the student sports competition of the Khon Buriram Games.
On 7 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Facebook user Tharaphan Wongpaisansirikul posted a video showing a suspect stealing mobile phones from futsal athletes representing Buriram Province at the dome building of Buriram Pittayakom School, during the 45th National Student and University Sports Festival, the Khon Buriram Games, 2026.
The suspect stole three phones: one iPhone 17 and two Vivo phones. Using GPS tracking, the phones were traced about 3 kilometers before the signal disappeared, likely due to battery depletion.
The young victims have filed a report with Buriram City Police Station. Police already have full CCTV footage capturing the suspect’s actions.
