A Japanese fighter boldly declared he is the only one in Japan who can defeat Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the top Thai boxer.
On 4 March 2026, the Thai boxer nicknamed “The Savage,” Nakamura Kan from Japan, gave a fierce interview at the RISE ELDORADO 2026 press conference.
Nakamura confirmed that no Japanese fighter has been able to defeat Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the former world flyweight Muay Thai champion, and that only he can win against him.
“Don’t try to sneak in claiming to be world No. 1 when I’m not even ranked,” he said.
“No Japanese fighter can do it. I alone in Japan am the only one who can defeat Rodtang.”
Currently, Nakamura is the RISE kickboxing champion at 61 kilograms, and Beyond Kickboxing ranks him as the world’s No. 5 fighter in that weight class.
