Rodtang Jitmuangnon was caught off guard when opening Manchester United cards and got two players' cards worth tens of thousands of baht.
On 22 April 2026, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, a famous Muay Thai fighter, was training to prepare for the ONE Samurai 1 event against Japanese fighter Takeru Segawa. During a break from training, he opened a pack of Manchester United cards.
The pack was the Topps Palatial Manchester United set, priced at 57,500 baht. The pack contained only Manchester United players, filled with both club legends and current squad members. Rodtang revealed cards of Matthijs de Ligt, Nani, and Michael Carrick, the current Manchester United coach, jokingly saying, "Please help us win a championship next season; this card will be valuable."
However, the cards that astonished him were the signed cards of Michael Owen and Bryan Mbeumo, which made him visibly surprised. The combined value of these two signed cards is estimated at 400-700 pounds, approximately 17,400-30,500 baht. If the cards include jersey pieces or embedded gems, the value could increase further.
Previously, he had opened Pokémon card packs and obtained special cards, as well as cards from popular anime series like One Piece and Dragon Ball, which are currently popular in the card game community.
