"Big Plai" provides the latest clarification on the "Rodtang" contract dispute and reveals that someone from ONE will pursue legal action (video).
On 22 April 2026, Big Plai Jitinath Atsadamongkol, President of ONE Thailand, made a statement on the ONE Championship Thailand Facebook page after a press conference aiming to resolve the conflict between ONE and Rodtang Jitmuangnon. Assistance was provided by Somjit Waenkaew and "So Ae" Suntaree Lohapuech, Rodtang's legal manager and agency.
Also involved was General Suchart Daengprapai, former manager of the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, former chairman and advisor at the Army Sports Development Center for Lumpinee Muay Thai, founder and CEO of Muay Thai Planner Co., Ltd., and advisor to ONE Thailand, who helped coordinate talks between all parties.
Currently, the discussions and negotiations are proceeding smoothly with positive prospects leading to a fair and appropriate resolution for all parties after 29 April.
Big Plai Jitinath Atsadamongkol further explained, "ONE affirms that all contract dealings with athletes have been conducted correctly and transparently. The allegations of forged contract documents that have been circulated are untrue and have caused widespread misunderstanding among the public, severely damaging ONE's reputation."
"Therefore, we must take legal action to protect the organization's reputation and integrity based on the facts. The conflicts, legal cases, proposals, and negotiation points between ONE and Jitmuangnon will continue to be discussed in detail."
