Superlek Muaythai views Rodtang as better than Takeru in the ONE SAMURAI 1 fight.
On 23 April 2026, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, former ONE Muay Thai Flyweight World Champion, traveled to Japan to prepare for his kickboxing flyweight bout against Takeru Segawa on 29 April at ONE SAMURAI 1.
The Lumpinee X Muay Thai 7 Colors Facebook page interviewed Superlek, who has previously fought both Takeru Segawa and Rodtang Jitmuangnon, about the upcoming Rodtang vs. Takeru rematch and its likely direction.
Superlek believes the victory will likely go to Rodtang, as he has several advantages over Takeru.
"Rodtang is unlikely to slip up. He's hard to take down. He's heavy, strong, and has everything. I think Rodtang will win. Rodtang's endurance is better; he can take hits, but Takeru cannot."
In their first fight, Rodtang knocked out Takeru in the first round at ONE 172 in Japan under kickboxing rules, earning a purse of 15 million baht plus about 1.7 million baht in bonuses.
