Bonus amount revealed for "Takeru" after knocking out "Rodtang" to claim interim ONE World Championship in a grand farewell fight.
On 29 April 2026, the bonus amount awarded to Takeru Sekigawa, the Japanese superstar fighter, was disclosed after he avenged his loss to Thai fighter Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the ONE Samurai 1 event held at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
In this fight, Takeru Sekigawa demonstrated superior strength and aggressive striking, pressuring Rodtang Jitmuangnon until the referee counted three knockdowns, before finishing with a knockout at 2 minutes 22 seconds into the fifth round.
This victory allowed Takeru to successfully avenge his previous defeat and claim the interim ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Championship belt, marking a spectacular final fight in his career as planned, after having been knocked out by Rodtang at 1 minute 20 seconds during ONE 172 in Thailand on 23 March 2025.
Additionally, Takeru Sekigawa received a bonus of 15 million yen (approximately 3.1 million baht) for his flawless knockout win over Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
