On 29 Apr 2026 GMT+7, the latest images of Rodtang Jitmuangnon were revealed after he was knocked out by his longtime Japanese rival, Takeru Segawa, at 2:22 of the 5th round in the main event of ONE Samurai 1 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
In this fight, Takeru Segawa clearly demonstrated superior strength, relentlessly attacking Rodtang Jitmuangnon and causing the referee to count to three before finishing the match in the 5th round.
This resulted in Rodtang Jitmuangnon missing out on the interim ONE Kickboxing Flyweight World Championship belt, while Takeru avenged his loss and claimed the interim ONE Kickboxing Flyweight World Championship belt, ending his final professional fight as planned.
After leaving the ring, Aida Luktaraikongdin, Rodtang Jitmuangnon's wife, posted a photo of the Thai fighter upset over the knockout loss to Takeru, along with an encouraging message: "Don't worry, you did your very best. Come on... let's go home."
