RWS 200: The Greatest Muay Thai Battle in the Shows 4-Year History Concludes with Daniels Stunning Neck Kick and Bonuses Exceeding 3,850,000 Baht

"RWS 200," the greatest Muay Thai battle in the show's four-year history, ended with a thrilling finish as Daniel delivered a stunning neck kick knockout. Bonuses for the event surpassed 3,850,000 baht.

The RWS 200 Muay Thai event, held last Saturday, 27 June, at Rajadamnern Stadium, concluded grandly. All seven bouts featured top-tier Muay Thai fighters competing with honor, resulting in bonuses totaling 3,850,000 baht (three million eight hundred fifty thousand baht) being awarded.

Main event: Daniel Rodriguez delivered a neck kick knockout against Angel Bausa, earning a fresh bonus of 1,550,000 baht.

The super fight main event was a defense of the Rajadamnern Stadium super welterweight (154 pounds) title between Daniel Rodriguez, the top Muay Thai fighter of this era, and challenger Angel Bausa, a fierce competitor from Argentina.

During the first two rounds, Daniel continuously targeted Angel's body with left kicks. In the third round, seeing Angel's defense weaken, Daniel seized the opportunity to deliver a left kick to Angel Bausa's neck, knocking him down in the center of the ring. The fight ended early in round three, allowing Daniel to secure his fifth title defense and claim a total bonus of 1,550,000 baht (500,000 baht for super fight winner bonus + 500,000 baht for super fight knockout bonus + 500,000 baht special knockout bonus for RWS 200 + 50,000 baht for the Muay Thai technique bonus for the neck kick). Undeniably, he is currently the world’s number one pound-for-pound fighter under Muay Thai rules.

“Jigsaw” showed exquisite skill to win on points over “Duan 99,” sharing a total bonus of 1,000,000 baht.

The co-main super fight featured a rematch for the Rajadamnern flyweight (112 pounds) title in a fierce battle at Rajadamnern Stadium in 2025. Jigsaw Sit Thailand, the reigning champion, faced Duan 99 from A. Phetkhunseuk, the Rajadamnern light flyweight (108 pounds) champion.

Over five rounds, both fighters competed with great honor in what was a fiery fight of the year, exchanging fierce strikes. Jigsaw adapted his style, using timing and precision to land more effective strikes, winning unanimously on points (48-47, 49-46, 49-46) and successfully defending his title for the fourth time. Due to the intense fight, RWS awarded a combined bonus of 1,000,000 baht for this bout, with Jigsaw receiving 750,000 baht (500,000 baht for super fight winner bonus + 250,000 baht for intense super fight bonus). Duan 99, despite the loss, earned 250,000 baht for the intense super fight bonus.

Koki Osaki brutally knocked out Chaiton W. Uracha to become the interim super bantamweight champion, collecting nearly one million baht in bonuses.

Another highlight was the third collaboration between RWS and RISE, Japan’s leading combat sports organization, which sent Koki Osaki, a RISE world champion and ranked fourth pound-for-pound in kickboxing worldwide, to face Chaiton W. Uracha, a top RWS fighter. The interim Rajadamnern super bantamweight (122 pounds) title was at stake.

Early in the fight, Chaiton skillfully struck Koki with precise elbows, causing a cut on Koki’s forehead. However, late in the first round, Koki unleashed a flurry of strikes to knock out Chaiton, winning the interim Rajadamnern title as hoped. He received an 850,000 baht bonus from RWS (150,000 baht for fight winner bonus + 200,000 baht for championship knockout bonus + 500,000 baht special knockout bonus for RWS 200) and will have the chance to unify the title with Phetsila W. Uracha, the reigning champion, in his next fight.

Other results from the RWS 200 event:

- Dmitry Menshikov once again demonstrated he is the world’s most powerful and feared Muay Thai puncher by knocking out Emerson Bento, former Rajadamnern champion, unconscious within just 25 seconds.

** Dmitry Menshikov earned a special knockout bonus of 250,000 baht from RWS 200.

- Albert Campos won a unanimous decision over Oscar Fonseca (30-27 on all three scorecards).

- Avor Kasimba won a split decision over Gonzalo Albinacorta (27-28, 28-27, 28-27).

** Both fighters earned 100,000 baht each for an intense fight, exchanging knockdowns in a thrilling battle.

- James Kostich won a unanimous decision over Miki Gazali (29-28, 30-27, 30-27).

Bank - Thianchai Phisitwutthinan, CEO of Global Sport Ventures Co., Ltd. (GSV), board member of Rajadamnern Stadium, and chairman of the RWS event, stated, “RWS has reached its 200th event, marking great success. Looking back four years ago, people said Muay Thai was dead and couldn’t recover. But today, we have continuously developed to this point. Four years ago, the audience was countable, but today tickets sell out immediately, forcing us to close the ticket booths. This proves how far we have advanced Muay Thai.”

“Another pleasing aspect is that every fighter today gave their all, showing the pride of top-level Muay Thai fighters worldwide. They also displayed beautiful and dangerous Muay Thai techniques for the world to see, which is how we selected all fighters for this event. Bonuses totaling 3,850,000 baht were awarded tonight, excluding fight purses. Since RWS began, we have continually improved this aspect. We believe we will be a key part of sustainably improving the lives of both Thai and foreign fighters.”
