RISE World Champion Nakamura Eager to Fight Rodtang, Wants the Best Version, Not Just 1% Effort

Kan Nakamura, RISE world champion, declared his wish to face Rodtang Jitmuangnon once in his life, adding, "I want to face the version of him who has trained at 100%, not just 1%."

On 21 Jul 2026 GMT+7, Kan Nakamura, a RISE world champion from Japan's top combat sports organization, expressed his desire to face Rodtang Jitmuangnon, one of Thailand's best fighters, at least once in his lifetime. He said he is open to any rules, whether Muay Thai or kickboxing.

This is not the first time Kan Nakamura has challenged Rodtang Jitmuangnon. Previously, during Rodtang's peak, Nakamura called him out multiple times. Now, as the RISE world champion prepares to switch from kickboxing rules to pursue a Muay Thai title at Rajadamnern Stadium, this is another opportunity where he most wants to face a worthy opponent.

One of Kan's statements that caught Thai listeners' attention was, "I want to fight Rodtang once in my life, but I want to see him at his full 100% training level, not just 1%. I'm curious to see how the result would turn out."

A few weeks ago, Kan Nakamura announced he would carry his kickboxing champion prestige as he crosses over to chase success in Muay Thai at the RWS event and Rajadamnern Stadium. Soon, we will definitely see him compete in the RWS tournament.
