“Stamp Fairtex and Rambo Lek” prepare to showcase the talent of Thai boxers in Japan.
The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), through the Boxing Sports Committee, is bringing two world-class fighters to participate in the Thailand Showcase event in Nagoya on 22 September.
The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), via the Boxing Sports Committee, is set to present “Stamp Fairtex” and “Rambo Lek Chor Ajalaboon” to share the charm and potential of Muay Thai at the Thailand Showcase on 22 September 2026 at Hisaya-Odori Park, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Coinciding with the 20th Asian Games “Aichi-Nagoya 2026,” this offers Japanese and international attendees a chance to experience Muay Thai through athletes who have succeeded on the global stage, showcasing the value of this Thai martial art to an international audience.
“Stamp Fairtex,” a female Thai boxer and former ONE World Champion in three combat sports disciplines, will demonstrate Muay Thai skills, techniques, and charm at the Thailand Showcase through the traditional Wai Khru ceremony and skill demonstrations. This allows Japanese and international viewers to closely experience both the prowess of a world-class Thai athlete and the cultural uniqueness of Thai martial arts.
Meanwhile, “Rambo Lek Chor Ajalaboon,” former ONE Muay Thai Bantamweight World Champion, represents the new generation of Thai boxers making their mark internationally. Their participation not only gives sports fans a chance to meet renowned fighters but also highlights the skills, technique, and experience Thai athletes bring from global competition, inspiring those interested to see opportunities for self-development through Muay Thai.
Highlights of the event include both fighters performing the Wai Khru ceremony and demonstrating Muay Thai skills starting at 16:00 local Japan time, offering audiences an intimate experience of the martial art and its cultural identity. Meet & Greet sessions are scheduled at 14:00 with “Rambo Lek” and at 14:30 with “Stamp,” giving fans the opportunity to meet, talk, and take photos with the athletes.
The Boxing Sports Committee, as part of the SAT responsible for promoting, supporting, disseminating, and preserving Muay Thai, aims to use this event to comprehensively present Muay Thai—highlighting athletes’ abilities, sport standards, and cultural values—while promoting the Muay Thai industry and sports tourism. The interest generated from the showcase is intended to lead to further learning, training, and visits to experience Muay Thai in Thailand.
The event also features traditional Wai Khru, ancient Muay Thai, and Krabi-Krabong demonstrations, along with information about Muay Thai camps and training programs in Thailand. Representatives from camps certified by the Boxing Sports Committee will provide details and promote understanding of Muay Thai from its country of origin, connecting interested parties with Thailand’s standard camps.
Bringing Stamp and Rambo Lek to the Thailand Showcase is thus a presentation of both the “potential of Thai boxers” and the “value of Muay Thai.” It aims to raise awareness that Muay Thai is not only a competitive sport but also a cultural art form that connects people internationally, serving as a starting point for opportunities in tourism, merchandise, and services related to Thailand’s Muay Thai industry.
