At the 25th Poonsuea Muay Thai Authentic Tournament held at Channel 7 HD Stadium on 7 Feb, Group C round of 16 first round took place. Before the fights, Mr. Jomorn Lekakul, representing Poonsuea, honored both fighters by garlanding them as a sign of encouragement. The bouts featured Superbon Tor.Pitakchai versus Yodkan Chang Nakhonsri at 116 pounds, and Wutthidet Sor.Dechdamrong against Charito Lanna Water Side Muay Thai Gym also at 116 pounds. Both matches saw fierce exchanges that impressed Thai and international fans, who cheered with excitement.
In the first match, Superbon Tor.Pitakchai faced Yodkan Chang Nakhonsri, both professional right-handed knee fighters. Yodkan pressed forward with right kicks to the body while Superbon countered with precise right kicks. They exchanged in the center of the ring. Early in round 3, Yodkan ramped up his attack with right kicks and punches. Then Yodkan landed a perfect right hook to Superbon's chin, causing him to stagger but stand. The referee gave an eight count. Yodkan immediately rushed in and delivered another clean right hook to the chin, sending Superbon down for a ten count knockout, awarding Yodkan a TKO win in round 3.
In the second bout, Wutthidet Sor.Dechdamrong fought Charito Lanna Water Side Muay Thai Gym. Wutthidet started with right kicks but was met with a solid left kick from Charito, followed by clinching and knee strikes that left Wutthidet struggling to break free, absorbing knees continuously. Late in the fight, Wutthidet switched to punches trying to secure a knockout, but Charito countered with a left kick, grabbed the neck, and delivered knees causing Wutthidet to falter. At the end of the round, Charito won decisively by points.
For the 25th Poonsuea Muay Thai Authentic Tournament Group D round of 16 first round, upcoming matches include Yodphet PK.SiaToam PK.AhlayYon versus Big Boss Sor.Sasiwat at 116 pounds, and Sangthongnoi Sangthong Gas against Phetmorakot Sit Songpee Nong also at 116 pounds. Both fights are ready to showcase Muay Thai's traditional techniques to Thai and international fans on Sunday, 15 Feb, at Channel 7 HD Stadium, broadcast live on Channel 7 HD starting at 14:30.
