Somjit Waenkaew is prepared to award Rodtang a 1 million baht bonus if he wins, and 2 million baht if he wins by knockout.
On 20 April 2026, after ONE Championship, led by Jitinat Atsadamongkol, President of ONE Championship Thailand, held a press conference together with Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Somjit Waenkaew, head of the Jitmuangnon boxing camp, and Suntaree Lohapuech, or “Sor Ae,” head of the Jitmuangnon camp and promoter, at the Jitmuangnon boxing camp to discuss and clarify the resolution regarding Rodtang Jitmuangnon following recent legal disputes.
All negotiations proceeded smoothly, confirming that the fight between Rodtang and Takeru will definitely take place on 29 April at the ONE SAMURAI 1 event in Japan.
Sor Ae posted on Facebook a photo of Rodtang embracing Mr. Somjit with the caption, “When he said, ‘Win and take 1 million baht, win by knockout and take 2 million baht,’ this image immediately appeared. Rodtang, the same dark-skinned boy, has returned to the embrace of Jitmuangnon.”
