Jitinart Asadamongkol, chairman of ONE Championship Thailand, said, “Previously, when we had misunderstandings, we were glad to come back to talk. I would like to thank Somjit Waenkaew and So Ae Suntree Lohapheet, who stepped in to help during the negotiations. This also eased the contract conflicts and led us toward a positive resolution.”
“Today we see that we continue to work together, renewing Rodtang’s contract to bring him back as a fighter for ONE Championship. Regarding the contract details, we cannot disclose them, but it follows the standard for all athletes. I can say the compensation is very high—higher than any Thai athlete has ever received. The regular fight pay and championship fight pay differ, as this follows the standard system.”
“We want him to fight frequently, but it depends on his readiness and the matchmaking. We want him to have fair fights and reach fight fans worldwide. Regarding a rematch with Takeru Segawa, as they have each won once, I want to see it happen—not just me, but I believe fight fans around the world want to see it too.”
