Tawanchais Older Brother Speaks Out After Tawanchais First-Round KO Loss at ONE Lumpinee 134

Tawanchai P.K. lost by first-round TKO to Liu Meng Yang under kickboxing rules. Recently, Tawanchai's older brother posted on Facebook.

On 19 December 2025 GMT+7, in the featherweight kickboxing division at the year-end major event ONE Lumpinee 137, the highlight was the main event featuring Tawanchai P.K. Saenchai Muaythai Gym, the Muay Thai world featherweight champion, facing Liu Meng Yang, a tough, resilient top fighter from China.

Tawanchai aimed to regain his form under kickboxing rules after his last fight ended in a third-round knockout loss to Masaaki Noiri, which cost him a shot at the featherweight world kickboxing title.

However, in this fight, Tawanchai was caught by an inside right kick that left him unable to stand from the first round, resulting in a TKO loss that shocked Muay Thai fans across Thailand.

After the match, Kang Xavier, Tawanchai's older brother, posted on Facebook about his brother and admitted that the Chinese fighter’s kicks were unbelievably powerful.

"Heartbreaking beyond words. Two bones broken in the leg; recovery will be difficult," he wrote.

"His kicks were truly beyond human strength," he added.

Several Thai fighters close to Tawanchai, including PTT and Pakorn, have visited him at the hospital.

The double leg fracture may force Tawanchai into a long recovery before he can return to the ring.
