Former Official Decides Not to Wait After Being Accused of Fixing a Fight

Sergeant Jet posted a Facebook clarification after being accused of fixing a fight, affirming plans to go live to reveal the truth to the public to clear up the controversy.

On 2 Jan 2026 GMT+7, a major development shook the Muay Thai world when Mr. Atchariya Ruangrattanapong, chairman of the Crime Victims Assistance Club, went live on social media to expose ongoing fight-fixing schemes. Atchariya revealed that one individual has been consistently fixing fights, reportedly receiving over 10 million baht in the past two months. When confronted, this person denied knowledge or involvement repeatedly.

However, Sergeant Jet Thongpimai, head of the Rod Suay Sergeant Jet Boxing Camp, responded to these allegations by posting that he would go live to address all issues and pleaded for no false accusations.

"Someone accused four boxers of throwing fights. On 2 Jan 2026 GMT+7, I will go live to explain to boxing fans once the fighters return to camp. Please do not slander these young athletes. As the camp owner, I have dedicated myself to the sport despite the hard work, financial loss, and time invested, all out of passion. To start, I, Sergeant Jet, have been involved in Muay Thai for three full years, investing heavily and promoting matches for fans in the provinces without seeking sponsorship, funding it all myself. I do this to give back to society by offering opportunities and support to young fighters to earn income and continue their education. At Rod Suay Sergeant Jet Boxing Camp, we have 13 fighters who run for exercise daily, and I give each 100 baht per day for school expenses and meals. When they fight, I pay them 100% of their purse without deductions, covering all camp expenses myself. Their families receive full support, so the fighters face no hardship. When a fighter loses, it is due to their own performance, not throwing a fight. Accusing them is sinful. If they were throwing fights, their parents would be deeply hurt. As camp owner, I always encourage them to fight hard for bonuses. If a fighter's match is poorly valued, I let them rest first."

"1. Losing due to their own poor training (I apologize to fans for this). 2. Losing due to weight disadvantage against a larger opponent (because they were sent as substitutes at the promoter's request)."

"All fighters in my camp want to win, but we must understand them. When my fighters lose, I never insult or mistreat them; I just urge them to try harder. I ask boxing fans to listen to my upcoming live explanation and refrain from accusing the camp or the fighters. I am already hurt by losses; please do not slander us. I do this for the kids. If fights were fixed, why has no evidence been presented to punish the fighters or those responsible? Regardless, Sergeant Jet will continue to perform as usual if fans call for it. I ask everyone who doesn’t know the facts not to slander the fighters or the camp. Otherwise, we will be the bad ones. Please think carefully."
