MSC Boxing Enters Final Stage with Southern Champions Advancing to Semifinals at Rajadamnern on 1 Feb

MSC Boxing approaches its final phase as Southern regional champions secure their path to the semifinals at Rajadamnern Stadium on 1 February.



The Muay Thai competition "MSC Championship 2025" (MSC2025), organized by the Boxing Sports Committee under the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), has been held continuously across regions. On 8 January, the Southern Zone finals took place at the Ruamjai Multipurpose Hall in Surat Thani Province, attracting many boxing fans. The event was honored by Mr. Somchai Poolsawat, chairman of the organizing committee, who presided over the ceremony.


The results of the Southern Zone championship finals are summarized as follows.


Match 1: Men's 115-118 lbs category — Ratchasak Kiatmuu 5 won by knockout against Takientong Triamudomsuksa Pattanasuratthani in the 2nd round.

Match 2: Women's 105-112 lbs category — Khwanjira Sor Yupawadee won by points over Kulap Khao Triamudomsuksa Pattanasuratthani.

Match 3: Men's 130-135 lbs category — Yodyut Rajabhat Suratthani won by points against Kengklae Yusobkhan, Talangu Subdistrict.

Match 4: Women's 115-118 lbs category — Phetjintra Pangwaan Sports Center won by points over Earnside Sor Dampfongngam.

Match 5: Men's 122-126 lbs category — Phonchai Singmawin won by knockout against Love In Phuthan Resort in the 3rd round.

Match 6: Men's 140-147 lbs category — Phetsaenchai MUDEEN Khonmai Baowee won by points against Yodkhunseuk Sitkaewprapol.


Additionally, three special matches were held as part of the competition.


Match 7: 128 lbs category — Mahathai Lanna Water Side Muay Thai Gym won by knockout against Khundong Saensaak in the 3rd round.

Match 8: 128 lbs category — Yodkaoklai Surat Gym won by points over Phetrungsan Weewin Gym.

Match 9: 129 lbs category — Siwanat Nayok A Tasala won by knockout against Sakchainoi MUDEEN in the 4th round.


After crowning six regional champions, the national semifinals will be held at Rajadamnern Boxing Stadium on Sunday, 1 February, with the finals scheduled for Saturday, 7 March.


The Boxing Sports Committee under the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) organizes the "MSC Championship 2025" (MSC2025) to promote personnel in all seven boxing categories as defined by the Boxing Sports Act B.E. 2542 (1999). The competition aims to develop the sport's standards and provide a platform for emerging local Muay Thai athletes to enter the professional sports system and advance to the international level. MSC 2025 is scheduled from November 2025 through February 2026, featuring over 200 athletes nationwide competing in a knockout format. The tournament is divided into four regional zones to select representatives for the national competition: Northern Zone at Chiang Mai Municipality Gymnasium, Chiang Mai Province; Central, Eastern, and Western Zones at Max Muay Thai Stadium, Pattaya, Chonburi Province; Northeastern Zone at Udon Thani Municipality Multipurpose Dome, Udon Thani Province; and Southern Zone at Ruamjai Multipurpose Hall, Kanchanadit District, Surat Thani Province.
