Grand finale! The Sports Authority of Thailand's Muay Thai Committee (SCMA, SAT) awarded certificates to foreign Muay Thai instructors, elevating the art of Muay Thai to international standards in Pattaya.
On 13 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the Muay Thai Committee (SCMA) under the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) successfully conducted the "Muaythai Instructor Course (Introductory Level) for Foreigners 2025," culminating with an official closing ceremony and certificate presentation at Boutique City Hotel Pattaya in Pattaya.
Mr. Theerawat Silpa-acha, Director of the Muay Thai Sports Promotion and Development Division at SCMA, SAT's Professional Sports and Muay Thai Department, honored the closing ceremony and presented certificates to foreign trainees who passed both theoretical and practical exams. This certification officially guarantees the standards of knowledge as per SCMA criteria.
The program included over 100 foreign participants and featured cooperation from more than 10 expert A License instructors who delivered intensive theoretical and practical training. The curriculum covered fundamental Muay Thai skills such as punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, as well as instilling discipline, ethics, and the correct, graceful performance of the traditional Muay Thai wai kru ceremony.
Graduates of this course are now ready to serve as “Muay Thai Cultural Ambassadors,” promoting Thailand’s national martial art on the international stage in accordance with proper standards. The certificates they received mark an important first step toward advancing their skills to higher levels in the future.
