Feem Sawita recounts the story of how she met Tawanchai before they got married.
On 22 February 2026, Sin Som Sut and PTT, two Thai boxers from ONE Championship, interviewed Feem Sawita, the beautiful wife of Tawanchai P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym, the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion, covering various interesting topics, including how the couple first met.
Sin Som Sut S. Klinmee asked Feem, Tawanchai's wife, how she met Tawanchai.
Feem replied, “We met on social media. It goes back to when Tawanchai was 19 and I was about 20 or 21. I saw a Facebook profile named Tawanchai who added me. At that time, I didn’t know him; Muay Thai wasn’t very popular yet. He didn’t message me, but kept liking my photos. I had a boyfriend then, but I guess Tawanchai didn’t. Whenever he posted pictures, he always liked mine. He messaged occasionally, like asking what I was doing, but we never talked on the phone. Later, when we were both single, Tawanchai had won the ONE Championship, and we reconnected on Instagram. He followed me, but I didn’t follow back. Then a photo of him wearing a black hat came up — earlier his profile picture was holding a chicken, but I liked that one better because it was more 'Thai village' style, so I followed him back.”
“I messaged him on Instagram saying, ‘This photo is so handsome.’ He replied, ‘Thank you, how are you?’ Two days later, I posted a story about packing up during a breakup. He asked if I wanted to eat out, so our first meal was at 11 p.m. at Foodland, each having fried rice. We talked for a year before dating, going to movies and dinners, living our separate lives. As a fighter, he was very busy, and I was working hard too. At that time, Tawanchai was very famous and defending his title. When we first met, he was known by tens of thousands; everywhere he went, people asked for photos, but no one asked to be his girlfriend. Eventually, he introduced me to his parents and family and met my siblings seriously. Tawanchai isn’t sweet but generous-hearted. He is a man of few words but hits hard.”
“I’m the type who doesn’t want anyone paying too much attention to me. I don’t follow anyone, not even celebrities. When we go out, we don’t hide ourselves, but on social media, we keep a low profile to avoid drama at that time.”
“Feem has been with Tawanchai for over three years. The first photo of us hugging was private; no one knew we were married until the end of last year. Then we posted pictures of our child. I decided to share because I was very happy he defended his title, especially since Superbon is very skilled.”
Currently, Tawanchai is undergoing physical rehabilitation after being kicked by Liu Meng Yang, resulting in a broken leg late last year during the ONE Lumpinee 137 event.
