Rodtang Opens Up After ONE Championship Lawsuit

Rodtang Jitmuangnon, a famous Muay Thai fighter, has opened up for the first time after facing serious drama.

Following ONE Championship’s lawsuit against Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the well-known Thai fighter and former ONE Muay Thai Flyweight World Champion, for multiple contract violations, it is estimated that ONE Championship is seeking damages as high as $20 million USD, roughly 641 million baht, from lawsuits filed in Thailand, Japan, and Singapore.

This figure is based on damage assessments related to reputational harm to the organization, stemming from Rodtang’s live streams, posted images and messages, and disputes regarding a signature he claims was forged, which ONE Championship views as damaging to its reputation.

Recently, Rodtang Jitmuangnon spoke out for the first time, stating, “I just want to say that I don’t want to fight with anyone. I love everyone. I am sincere about this profession. I have to thank Muay Thai for giving me everything I have today. Without Muay Thai, I wouldn’t know what life would bring.”

“I left home when I was 13. I am just someone who wants to take care of my family. Even if one day I might not succeed, I still stand by my words that I don’t want to cause trouble for my parents or my family.”

“I want to encourage everyone not to give up on any problems. Of course, there are problems and both good and bad things, but if what you choose to do is something you love, give it your all and do it right. I believe you will be happy. Today, I think I am doing what is right and doing what I love. I am happy. Seeing my family eat together brings me more happiness than anything else.”

“I don’t know what the future holds, but today I am with my family and happiest. We shouldn’t fear anything. We are on the right path. I love and am sincere about everything. Of course, no one is perfect. Everyone has flaws, makes mistakes, falls, and rises. But believe me, as we grow up, we understand how important doing the right thing is.”

“It might be hard for a 28-year-old like me, but I promise everyone I will fight every day. The only thing that can make me stressed or sad is if my family faces hardship. I fear for my family’s difficulties. As long as I breathe, I want my family to have food, smiles, and happiness.”

“I train every day, everyone, but I don’t post much on social media. If you want to see, I will post for you. I will fight for justice. Thank you all for your support. I love you all.”
