This follows ONE Championship filing a lawsuit against Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the famous Thai fighter and former ONE Muay Thai Flyweight World Champion, for multiple contract breaches. It is anticipated that ONE Championship will seek damages as high as 20 million USD, approximately 641 million baht, across lawsuits filed in three countries: Thailand, Japan, and Singapore.
This figure is based on damage assessments related to reputational harm to the organization due to Rodtang's live streaming, image postings, and statements, as well as issues regarding a signature Rodtang claimed was forged. ONE Championship views these actions as damaging to its reputation.

"Some parts of Thai society are strange — they criticize without knowing right from wrong. But he has always been a very good person, supporting dozens of family members. He earns money and provides for his parents and siblings, buying land and building homes. I think he has done the right thing."
"He has never caused trouble for anyone. The money he earns is honest. Yet netizens get upset on his behalf about the current controversy. Whether he was mistreated or not, we don’t know. As fellow Thais, instead of listening and watching calmly, people insult and slander without knowing anything, judging prematurely. Just because Rodtang likes to play football, what’s wrong with that? Criticize him if he plays football inside the ring, but not otherwise. That’s how it is."
