ONE confirms no signature forgery; over 4 years, paid Rodtang 70.3 million baht, the highest among Thai boxers in the country.
ONE clarified the contract issue involving “Rodtang Jitmuangnon,” affirming that documents from both 2018 and 2022 are standard contracts used for all Thai boxing athletes under their promotion since 2018 to present. They emphasized that Rodtang personally signed the contracts with no forgery involved.
ONE stated the difference in Rodtang’s contract compared to other Thai boxers lies in the higher compensation details. They reiterated that over the past 8 years, both parties have worked continuously together, with ONE supporting fight schedules, opponents, and additional compensation exceeding the contract value.
Regarding compensation, ONE revealed that over the past 4 years, they were contractually obligated to pay Rodtang about 16.6 million baht. However, including the scheduled fight with Takeru on April 29, 2026, and various bonuses, the total amounts to approximately 70.3 million baht—currently the highest rate for a Thai boxer in Thailand.
Furthermore, ONE confirmed the fight program on April 29, 2026, will proceed as planned, including the bout between Rodtang and Takeru. They expressed confidence that the ongoing dispute will not hinder the collaborative relationship between the organization and the athlete.
