On 19 April 2026, ONE Championship, led by Jitinat Asdamongkol, President of ONE Championship Thailand, held a press conference together with Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Somjit Waenkaew, head of Jitmuangnon gym, and Suntaree Lohapuech, or “Sao Ae,” head and promoter of Jitmuangnon gym, at Jitmuangnon gym. They gathered to discuss and clarify the situation concerning Rodtang Jitmuangnon amid ongoing litigation, in which ONE is seeking 542 million baht in damages, alleging defamation against Rodtang due to his social media posts, as well as matters related to the ONE SAMURAI 1 event in Tokyo, Japan.
Jitinat Asdamongkol, President of ONE Championship Thailand, said, "Thank you everyone for coming to Jitmuangnon gym for today's press conference regarding the recent drama. Neither Rodtang nor ONE wished for this situation to arise. Both sides have felt uncomfortable and hurt, despite having a good relationship until matters escalated into a lawsuit. We are now ready to find a mutual solution to prevent further escalation. We will not revisit old issues but want to focus on a positive way forward. I appreciate Somjit and Sao Ae for helping to facilitate our dialogue."
