Rodtang Makes Decision After Knockout Loss to Takeru

Rodtang Jitmuangnon has made his decision after being knocked out by Takeru Segawa, missing the ONE Kickboxing Flyweight World Championship belt.

Following Rodtang Jitmuangnon’s knockout loss to Takeru Segawa, which cost him the interim ONE Kickboxing Flyweight (125-135 lbs) World Championship belt, the event took place at ONE Samurai 1 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

Recently, after returning to Thailand, Rodtang posted on Facebook with a clear message: "Let’s keep fighting," amid comments from fans offering support and looking forward to his next fight.

Additionally, when asked by reporters about the possibility of a third match between Rodtang and Takeru—after each had one win—Rodtang expressed doubt, believing Takeru is unlikely to return to fighting after announcing his retirement following his last bout.

Rodtang said, “I don’t think he will fight again because he’s older now and has a family.”

“It’s a good thing that he was able to end his career on a high note. We have to respect him for that.”
