Thailand's U19 futsal team held firm, defeating Indonesia to claim the 2025 ASEAN U19 Championship.
On 29 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the 2025 ASEAN U19 Futsal Championship final saw Thailand U19 face Indonesia U19 at the Gymnasium of the Nonthaburi Central Sports Stadium, with live broadcast starting at 19:00.
At the 17th minute, Thailand took the lead 1-0 when Montana Chantrachang passed to Noparoj Ravilertwat, whose shot was saved by Indonesia's goalkeeper, but Phumipuch Houbam followed up in the penalty area to score.
By the 20th minute, Indonesia equalized 1-1 from their second penalty after Thailand committed more than five fouls; Muhammad Robby successfully converted the spot-kick, ending the first half with this score.
Early in the second half at the 21st minute, Thailand regained the lead 2-1 following a mistake by Indonesia’s player, allowing Sorawich Sirisawat to advance and shoot with his right foot, sending the ball into the far post.
At the 26th minute, Thailand extended their lead to 3-1 when Sorawich Sirisawat assisted Sethawut Srithong, who struck a right-footed shot from just outside the penalty area into the net.
No further goals were scored in the remaining time, and the Thailand U19 men's futsal team defeated Indonesia U19 3-1 to claim their first-ever ASEAN U19 Championship title in 2025.
