On 26 Jan 2026, Thailand's national futsal team faced Lebanon in the opening group stage match of the 2026 AFC Futsal Championship (AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026) at 13:00 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The match was broadcast live on BG Sports.
The starting lineup consisted of five players: 2 Natthapong Yimareb (GK), 4 Krit Aransanyalak, 5 Ronachai Jungwongsuk, 8 Panasm Kittipanuwong, and 11 Muhammad Usman Musa.
In the first half, Lebanon focused on a low defensive line while Thailand's attacking play was hindered by the somewhat sticky pitch conditions. Both teams struggled to break through, ending the first 45 minutes tied 0-0.
In the second half, at the 27th minute, Thailand took the lead 1-0 when Therdsak Charoenpong threaded a pass to Worathak Srihangphairoj, who skillfully volleyed the ball into the net.
Later, at the 33rd minute, Thailand extended their lead to 2-0 as Muhammad Usman Musa engaged in a one-on-one duel with a Lebanese defender, maneuvered the ball skillfully, and then curled a beautiful shot into the top corner.
No further goals were scored in the remaining time. The match ended with Thailand defeating Lebanon 2-0, earning their first three points in the Asian championship.
