The result was that the "War Elephants" Thailand national futsal team won 4-2 over the "Golden Star" Vietnam national futsal team. Thailand's goals were scored by Itthicha Praphapan at the 16th minute, Sarawut Phalapruk at the 20th, Meentada Piromyu at the 23rd, and an own goal by Vu Ngoc Anh at the 40th minute. Vietnam's goals came from Tu Minh Quang at the 23rd minute and Nguyen Da Hai at the 35th.
For their next match, the "War Elephants" Thailand national futsal team will face the Australia national futsal team in the ASEAN Futsal Championship 2026 semifinals on Friday, 10 April.
