On 8 Apr 2026 GMT+7, the ASEAN Futsal Championship 2026 Group A standings were updated following the conclusion of the third matchday. The "War Elephants"—Thailand’s national futsal team—secured a 4-2 victory over Vietnam’s national futsal team, earning a perfect 9 points from 3 matches and moving to the top of the table. Vietnam dropped to second place, but both teams have already qualified for the next round.
Meanwhile, Timor-Leste’s futsal team defeated Myanmar’s team 3-1, earning 3 points from 3 matches and placing third in the standings. Myanmar lost all three matches and consequently sits at the bottom, in fourth place.
Next, the "War Elephants" will face Australia’s national futsal team in the semifinals of the ASEAN Futsal Championship 2026 on Friday, 10 April.
