On 22 August 2024 GMT+7, Thailand Post and Thairath Group held the lucky draw event for the "Cheer the Football, Celebrate with Luck" campaign for the UEFA European Championship 2024 at Warehouse 7 of Thairath Newspaper. Prizes totaled more than 10 million baht. Present were Dr. Danan Supatraphan, President and CEO of Thailand Post Co., Ltd., Watchara Watcharaphon, and Jitsupa Watcharaphon, co-CEOs of Thairath TV and Thairath Online, along with numerous celebrities and artists as witnesses.
This year, a total of 70.5 million entries were submitted via postcards and online postcards, consisting of 56.5 million physical postcards and 14 million online postcards. The champion team, "Spain National Team," accounted for as many as 34 million entries.
The result showed that Mr. Kunakorn Thaweechaiwat from Bang Wa Subdistrict, Phasi Charoen District, Bangkok, was the lucky winner of the first prize: gold valued at 6,500,000 baht.
